God's Miracle.........
Hi Everyone! It has been a bit of a ride the last few days....everytime Curt and I know big news is coming...the heaviness begins to settle in. It was a long ride down to Scripps Greens Hospital today......we met with Dr. Waltz and he reviewed Curt's latest MRI. It is so fascinating to see his computer go back 12 weeks..to the MRI done back at Duke. He showed us the origional area the tumor was removed from and the new growth that appeared 12 weeks ago ...and those areas were clean! Thankyou God! They were completely off the score board!! There is a new development in the back of his brain...12 weeks ago it looked like a little shadow...nothing that would ever catch your eye....but that same area is now about 3 inches long and about 1/2-1" wide...by the diagram. It could be new growth or damage done by radiation. The doctor felt that damage done a year ago shouldn't grow that fast in 12 weeks....but anything is possible. I asked the doctor about the shooting pains Curt's getting in the back of his head...radiation damage shouldn't cause pain but again anything is possible. This is an area that can not be operated on ...too risky! This is his speech, motor skills, and memory area and they don't do surgery on this area. So...he recommended to continue with the Avastin and CPT-11 for the next 60 days...and do another MRI then. We need to pray that God removed one area of new growth...He can also remove this new area that is unknown by the doctors. God is the Ultimate Healer and His miracle is what we need! Please pray for God's peace to surround Curt and I right now and to help us enjoy the moments together.... one day at a time. Also pray for God's arms to wrap around Brittany and Brett right now and keep them close. We love you all! Shari

I would like to ask you to share in a moment of prayer for Curt. You see, we're coming up on the year anniversary of the tumor, on October 18.
So, Thursday the 18th at 8pm we are asking for everyone to lift up Curt on his 1 yr. anniversary! Please pray for God's healing, God's will to be done, and peace for Curt and for his family.
Thank you for your support and prayers, we need to be a body who takes care of itself and lifts one another up, Amen!!

Rick and I are constantly praying for you. We pray that your spirit is up, your eyes are focused on God, and that your mind is at peace. I was listening to one of my favorite christian groups this morning and one of their songs reminded me of you.

Hi, I'm asking more of us to come and rally around Curt and Shari and the kids, to show more of our support. This is a time where this family needs us! This is an everyday battle that they are fighting and they show such courage! They need our prayers and active support in helping with everyday tasks. Lets go Team for Condons!
