the Springs were great..........

Hi everyone! We're home from the Springs! Curt was sooooo excited to get away and have some fun and relax! We went to the movies ( Curt's Fav ) out to dinner and vegged! I tried real hard to go to bed early and get up early! Do you know how hard that is for a NIGHT person???? But I did it for my Man!! He was so rested and his coloring got better and better as the days went on. It was a great choice to get him out of town. Today he had his blood work done and they will fax the results to Duke tomorrow. Pray his platelets are up and he can begin his chemo on Thursday. I'm noticing that when Curt's platelets are down, the tumor acts up a lot more. Anxiety, frustration, lack of sleep.....it all comes into play when he is low! It soooo isn't fare.... it isn't Curt at all, it's the tumor that acts up and he has NO control when it decides to take off! It shows us the power of the brain and when it isn't quite working the way it was designed to. Sooo.....I'll let you know how his results come in tomorrow! Love to you All, Shari
