keep the prayer chain going...........

Hi Family and Friends! Curt saw his oncologist last Thursday to check the sharp pains that he has been having along with discussing the chemo treatments. The doctor felt that maybe Curt was having a Spot Seizure....which means.... an isolated seizure in a muscle group...related to the brain tumor. The doctor felt he should see the neuro doctor in La Jolla this week to further check on him. So today, Tuesday, we will see Dr. Maung....a neuro doctor, to see what he feels the sharp pains are coming from and if they are related to the tumor. Please keep Curt in your prayers and that this new doctor can give us more answers on these new pains he's having. His oncologist wants to wait to have a MRI done .....he wants Curt to have a few more chemo treatments and Avastin ...at least 2 more times before checking the results of this combo drug he's on! So.....he's scheduled to have a MRI the week of October 8th. Curt is now feeling a little better from the last chemo treatment....done over 10 days ago! He is scheduled for bloodwork this Thursday and chemo on Friday. Keep the prayer chain going.....please!!! We are so thankful for all the special visitors we've had the last few weeks...it was sooooo awesome to see some of Curt's tennis lessons from Vista Tennis Club pop in! It means so much to us... to know how much you care....it also lifts our spirits....and helps us to continue on!! We love you all and I'll let you know how today goes! Love ind Live Life, Shari
