Every step of the way..........

Hi Everyone! Well, it took Curt until Wednesday to start feeling semi good after chemo. He has been real tired but he's pressing through the fire! He has a few new signs that we're watching closely and our friend Donnie Dee has been a great help at checking in with Curt and making sure we're in sink! Thankyou Donnie!! Curt and I went to our couples Bible study tonight and it was so great to meet with them again. We have 10 couples and a few single people that get together and discuss the message from last Sunday and issues that are going on in our life. You know...you don't know how precious life really is until you face cancer. We talked about our special gifts tonight and how's our faith in God........and you know....when we feel we can handle something...or control a situation that we're pretty good at....do we really call upon God to help us?? No! We feel pretty confident in ourselves in handling the situation! But...when tragedy hits a family and it's out of our control...who do you turn to for help? If we think we have any power.... we are fulling ourselves.....God tells us in the Bible He is the beginning and the end...He knows the numbers of our days...this life is short and there is another life longer to live after this one ......but we have a choice in where we want to live it...the catcher......we have to make that decision here on earth first...God's plan not mine. That's a Big One!! We have several friends now facing cancer and a few very ill and some that have lost their loved one...this is not our final destination...we need to think about where we want to spend our final destination.......there's only 2 choices! We're closing in on Curt's 1 year anniversary of his diagnosis, in October....can you believe it has been 1 year already? He can.....it has been a long hard year of struggle, triumphs, setbacks, joys, anticipations...and drawing nearer to God who holds him in His arms every step of the way....that is so comforting.
