Pathology report........

Hi Family and Friends! After many nights of not sleeping much, waiting for the call and praying on our next steps......... Curt began his day on Tuesday at 2:30am.....I held out til 5:30am!!!! Curt's nurse Beth, called us from Duke around 2:oopm with the report.....the tumor has grown back! We're not sure of the size yet.....Dr. Sampson will call us today with more info. He did leave us a message on our machine that he would like to do another surgery back at Duke. Before we decide, we are going to meet with many people on our choices. Curt's original doctor here in La Jolla told us he doesn't do a second surgery on this type of tumor. It has only been 9 months and this aggressive tumor is back!!!!!! Our hearts sunk....I did a few Mary Kay deliveries while Curt was napping and came home and told him when he got up to shower up.....we're going out to dinner!! This tumor Is Not going to get the best of us!!!!!! We're moving forward!! When God closes a door ..... another one will open! We have to research the door that God wants us to go through! Several of you are researching info and sending it in and thankyou!! You are all in this with us!! High on our list is City of Hope, UCLA, and MD Anderson in Texas. We just heard about a treatment in Montana for cancer patients.....we need more info on it. We haven't fully closed the door to Duke.....Curt and I feel our hearts are telling us to look at all options before deciding! We know time is a factor due to the speed of this tumor.... so the heat is on!!!!!! There's no day off on this roller coaster ride!!!!
