still waiting........

Hi Family and Friends!!! Sorry I left you hanging! For the last 2 weeks we have been battling insurance companies! We're trying to get this biopsy approved back at Duke. Our insurance company wants us to do it here! We have talked to Curt's doctor back at Duke and he called us on a Sunday and wants Curt back there. He is the one who found this fuzzy area on the tumor and he knows exactly what he's going in for. If it is the vaccine that attached itself the doctors know what to look for on the biopsy. Time is ticking....we hope to have an answer today. Curt is doing amazingly well....we're a bit anxious but he's feeling well! He hasn't had chemo or the vaccine for over a month and he has an abundance of energy!!!! Never seen him like this before....sooooo two of us in the house with this energy...is very different!!! Hee, hee!! I will give you the update as soon as we hear! If plans go as we have scheduled....we will leave next Tuesday. We love you all and feel your prayers!! Love, Shari
