Hi Everyone! Just a short note to let you know how it went today......Curt had an 11:00am appointment to receive his avastin and chemo. They decided to do blood work before to check his platelet count....he was low but still in the safe zone! He was 2 points from not being able to receive his treatments. We went to lunch at 11:20am ....while they actually waited to get the full results of the blood work. We were told to come back at 12:30 and the treatment would begin. Curt took his IPOD and a book and finished up at about 4:00pm! We got home around 5:15pm.....a long day!!! He immediately began feeling sick.....imagine....700mgs of drugs being pumped through your body! My prayer is that he can have a restful sleep tonight.
